wrote that every precept of our U.S. Constitution flows from the Bible, particularly the New

Testament. [1] Justice Joseph Story wrote that our entire system of jurisprudence is from the

Bible, Your Holy Word [2]; Our Pledge of Allegiance says we are one nation under God.

On the eve of the National Day of Prayer this year, I am reflecting on the blessings of God in our nation. America is the longest ongoing Constitutional Republic in history. This gift from God we call America – the greatest nation ever built - is founded on God’s Word, the Bible. Noah Webster wrote, “The brief exposition of the constitution of the United States, will unfold to young persons the principles of republican government; and it is the sincere desire of the writer that our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament or the Christian religion.” [1] Consequently, we live and work in the wealthiest nation on Earth. In 2022 America achieved the highest GDP [Gross Domestic Product] on Earth at $25.4 Trillion Dollars, with China a distant second at $17.8 Trillion Dollars. [2] And this with a population of only about 339 million people as compared to China’s 1.4 billion people. [3]

America's foundations are cracked in every area and when those cracks extend to the Judicial System, it signals great trouble in our land. Legal expert Jonathan Turley says the "Trump Trial" never should have happened. Legal Analyst, Greg Jarrett calls the "Trump Trial" Hocus Pocus, saying, "Hocus-pocus is a meaningless distraction or illusion that is intended to fool. That neatly summarizes District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against Donald Trump. The DA hopes to snooker a Manhattan jury into convicting the former president with a bag of legal tricks."

  We must return to those Biblical and Constitutional principles on which this great land is built. Our grandchildren are counting on it.

O Lord, You led the Framers of this beautiful gift - America - to found our land upon the rock of

In building a life, a business, a home, a family, or a nation, there are two foundations on which you may build. Jesus counsels us to build upon the rock of His Word and not the sand of sinful, human ideology. He said, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and [yet] it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock. “And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not act upon them, will be like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand. “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and it fell, and great was its fall” (Matthew 7:24-27 NASB). Since fifty-three of the fifty-five Framers of America's Constitutional Republic were devout Christians and attended a Christian church while they framed this nation, they were very familiar with the Lord's Word. Consequently, this great nation in which we live was built upon the ordinances and precepts of God's Word, the Bible.

While watching an incredible football game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday evening, January 9, 2022, I began to research the construction marvels of the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas where they played. Did you know they play on natural turf grass while indoors? It's a fact. The playing field is built on a large field tray, so they move the entire structure, grass and all, outside into the sunshine to grow and nurture the turf, then move it back indoors to prepare the field for game time. The tray is 95,000 square feet, made of 105,000 cubic yards of concrete [enough to build a 257-mile sidewalk from Vegas to Los Angeles], weighs 19 million pounds, and is powered by 72 individual motors

My wife, Sharon, and I attended the Council for National Policy Meeting this past September 24-26, 2021, at the Broadmoor Resort in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO. On Sunday we took the shuttle to the airport with about fifteen others and as we departed the property, our driver began sharing a bit of the history of the Broadmoor. In his joyful style the driver expounded on the vision of the original owner, Spencer Penrose, and the relaxed management style of the current owner, Philip Anschutz.

America Works America is the most blessed nation in the history of mankind. We have enjoyed more harmony, peace, liberty, economic prosperity, and victory on the battlefield than any other people.
